Brian Clough , Peter Taylor , Jimmy Gordan Signed Programme

Brain Clough , Peter Taylor and Jimmy Gordan ( hand signed Nottingham Forest programme from the Football League Division one match v Liverpool on 26th December 1977 .

Jimmy Gordan was the first team coach at Nottingham Forest and Clough described Gordon as “the character I needed most at Forest” and as “the fair-minded old pro whom I could trust with my life and my wallet if I carried one” , It was Gordan who also took Shilton to a traffic island near to the team hotel in Madrid prior to the European Cup Final in 1980 as Shilton was concerned about the hard training pitches in Madrid , Shilton wrote in his autobiography: “Jimmy and I dodged the cars and climbed on to the roundabout. He put down two tracksuit tops as makeshift goalposts and I set to work, against a background of tooting horns from passing cars.”
