Duncan Edwards' overnight bag taken to Belgrade for the European Cup tie 2nd Leg v Red Star 5th February 1958,green canvas and brown leather holdall, with name tag (blank), bears wear and splits Duncan Edwards' fiancée Molly Leech flew to Munich at the earliest opportunity to be with Duncan while he was being treated for his injuries at the Rechts der Isar Hospital. Tragically Duncan died 15 days after the Air Disaster. It became one of Molly's responsibilities to retrieve Duncan's personal effects from the authorities, this included the overnight bag he had taken for the travel to the Red Star match in Belgrade.
