Shirt is the correct size for Rush and has all the correct labels and tags inside from this time period and from a match worn Liverpool version shirt from 1985 - 1986

Shirt remains in good - very good condition considering its age with some signs of wear and match use still visible along with some small marks and pulls still evident inside and out

Although Rush predominantly mainly wore short sleeve version shirts he did on a few rare occasions wear long sleeve shirts during this season as can be seen in the attached video v QPR where he wore a long version shirt during the first half of this match

Shirt also amazingly comes with Rush's match worn shorts and worn match socks all of which again remains in worn used condition with signs of wear and match use still visible

Ian Rush is one of Liverpool's greatest ever players and the clubs all time leading goal scorer with his match worn items becoming incredibly rare and scarce with this being the only worn set we have ever come across

Rush is regarded as one of the best strikers of all time and one of the greatest Welsh players ever. Rush played for Liverpool from 1980 to 1987 and 1988 to 1996. He is the club's all-time leading goalscorer, having scored 346 goals in all competitions. He also holds the records for being the highest goalscorer in the history of the EFL Cup and in FA Cup finals. At international level, Rush made 73 appearances for Wales and remained their record goalscorer with 28 goals, until 2018.

Regarded as one of Liverpool's greatest ever players, Rush came 3rd among Liverpool players in an official Liverpool fan poll, 100 Players Who Shook The Kop. He also had short spells with Chester, Juventus, Leeds United, Newcastle United, Sheffield United, Wrexham and Sydney Olympic. Since retiring as a player in 2000, Rush has had a stint as manager of Chester City (2004–05), and has worked as a television football pundit.
