A handwritten letter from Manchester United’s Bobby Charlton to Molly Leech Fiancée of Duncan Edwards dated 17th February 1958,complete with original envelope postmarked Ashington, Northumberland, Bobby explaining to Molly that he had a good journey home, that he had not heard anything about Duncan and telling Molly how much he wants him “up and about”, Charlton further explaining that trainer Jimmy Murphy had told him to go straight home and that he had been receiving a lot of visitors and well wishers, the letter further emphasising how “everyone up home wants Duncan to get better so will him so”, Bobby signing off “yours always, keep your chin up Molly, Bobby xx”, two-pages of lined paper, in black ink.

A signed typescript letter from Rudolf Dassler founder of Puma sportswear to Duncan Edwards of Manchester United and England footballer, dated 17th February 1958, on Puma letterhead, signed ppa by son Armin A. Dassler on behalf of his father ‘Rudi’ and wishing Duncan and his friends a quick recovery and happy return to their country, further stating “lets us hope and pray that you will soon regain your good condition. Please take some flowers as a sign of our hearty feelings towards you.” complete with original envelope, this having been sent to the Krankenhaur hospital, rechts der Isar, Munich following the Munich air crash where Duncan was admitted and later passed away due to his injuries.

DOCUMENT COMES FRAMED AND MOUNTED

Adolf Hitler (1889-1945), Führer and Reich Chancellor of Nazi Germany, 1933-1945. Fine condition partially printed, partially typed Document Signed, Adolf Hitler, one page, 8¼” x 11¾”, Berchtesgaden [Germany], July 27, 1935. Countersigned, Göring and Blomberg, by Hermann Wilhelm Göring (1893-1946), Nazi Reichsmarshall and Luftwaffe commander-in-chief, and Field Marshal Werner Eduard Fritz von Blomberg (1878-1946), Nazi Minister of War and commander-in-chief of the armed forces, 1935-1938. In German, with translation.

This is a very uncommon, triple-signed document in which Hitler, acting “in the name of the Reich,” appoints Hans Pampe to be a Luftwaffe, or air force, major. It is accompanied by a photograph of Hitler, Göring, and von Blomberg and various papers relating to Pampe’s military service in World War I and thereafter through June 1940.

As Reichsmarschall, Göring was the highest ranking member of the German armed forces in World War II. Von Blomberg was the first general Field Marshal whom Hitler appointed.

This document bears a large blind-embossed Nazi eagle seal. Hitler, Göring, and von Blomberg have all signed with bold fountain pen signatures. The document has a few wrinkles, a small stain and a docket note at the top edge, and typical filing holes, but it is in fine condition overall.

We reject Nazism and all that it represented. We nevertheless offer this document because Nazism, although despised, played a large role in the history of the 20th Century. This piece would be a nice addition to any World War II or German military collection.

Presented is a 2017 Copa Del Rey Barcelona Players Trophy. It was was the 115th staging of the Copa Del Rey. Barcelona were the defending champions, and successfully defended their title following a 3–1 win over Alaves in the final. As winners, Barcelona would have been assured a place for the 2017-18 UEFA Europa League group stage; however, since they already qualified for the Champions League by finishing second in La Liga the berth was instead passed down the league.

This is one of the trophies presented to the players following Barcelona’s victory. Manufactured by legendary Spanish trophy manufacturer Alegre, who produces all of the major silverware, medals & trophies for Spanish competitions. Please note: these individual trophies that were presented to each member of the team are smaller than the actual Copa Del Rey Trophy presented to the victorious team. The trophy is accompanied by it’s original box.

Measurements/Specifics: The trophy measures approximately 5-1/2″ tall. It remains in it’s original Alegre FEF (Spanish Football Federation) trophy box with Alegre Madrid jewelers mark to the inside of the box, and the Copa Del Rey logo printed in gold to the outside of the box.
