Beckham made his England debut on 1 September 1996 at the age of 21. He was captain for six years, earning 58 caps during his tenure. He made 115 England career appearances in total, appearing at three FIFA World Cup tournaments, in 1998, 2002 and 2006, and two UEFA European Championship tournaments, in 2000 and 2004.

Known for his range of passing, crossing ability and bending free-kicks as a right winger, Beckham has been hailed as one of the greatest and most recognisable midfielders of his generation, as well as one of the best set-piece specialists of all time. He was runner-up in the Ballon d’Or in 1999, twice runner-up for FIFA World Player of the Year and in 2004 was named by Pelé in the FIFA 100 list of the world’s greatest living players. Shirt worn by David for A.C Milan during the Seria A match v AS Roma on the 24th of May 2009 , this was the final match for Paolo Maldini at the San Siro for A.C Milan and the shirt has been embroidered under the club badge with the match details from this match , shirt also has commemorative badge on the front for Maldini’s final match at the San Siro for A.C Milan.

David Beckham started his football career within Manchester United’s youth sector and was soon appreciated as one of the greatest midfielders in the world. With the Red Devils he won everything, before undertaking new experiences with Real Madrid and Los Angeles Galaxy. While a Galaxy player, at the end of 2008, he was loaned for the first time to Milan, in order to keep training during the MLS championship break. The Spice Boy’s positive loan spell with the Rossoneri was then repeated the following year, but was abruptly interrupted in March 2010 due to an Achilles tendon injury.

David Beckham Match Worn #23 Los Angeles Galaxy Away Shirt from the 2009 MLS Season. This shirt was a part of the squad’s original equipment and was used by David during match play. Beckham led the Galaxy to the MLS Cup Final during the 2009 season, ultimately losing to Real Salt Lake in the Final. Upon close inspection, you will come to find the following signs of use throughout this item: No significant damage is evident. No heavy markings are visible. Due to the dark color of the fabric, it is difficult to discern if there are any lighter markings. Some light fading/bleeding in the back numbers exists. Some very minor scuffs appear throughout the jersey. A portion of the inner size label has worn off. Normal age/wear for a garment likely worn for just one half of play.

Boots have been personalised with the names on Davids children , the date of the match ( 18/5/13 ) , the Union Flag on the side of each boot and David and Victoria’s initials on the top of the heel

Boots have also been signed on the side by David however the signature is slighlty faded but still visible
