Paolo Maldini Signed Champions League Final Programme 2007 – Athens

Incredibly rare Paolo Maldini hand signed Champions League final programme 2007

AC Milan won the 2007 Champions league after beating Liverpool 2-1 at the Main Olympic Stadium, Marousi, in Greece on the 23rd of May 2007

Maldini Captained the AC Milan team who secured their 7th Champions League trophy

The 2007 UEFA Champions League Final was the final match of the 2006–07 UEFA Champions League, Europe’s primary club football competition. The showpiece event was contested between Liverpool of England and Milan of Italy at the Olympic Stadium in Athens, Greece, on 23 May 2007. Liverpool, who had won the competition five times, were appearing in their seventh final. Milan, who had won the competition six times, were appearing in their eleventh final.

Both teams had to pass through five rounds before they reached the final. They both entered in the third qualifying round and won their respective groups before they reached the knockout stage, where matches were contested over two legs, with a match at each team’s home ground. Milan’s victories varied from close affairs to comfortable victories. They defeated Celtic by a single goal over two legs, while they beat Manchester United 5–3 on aggregate in the semi-final. Liverpool’s matches were mainly all close affairs; they beat defending champions Barcelona on the away goals rule in the first knockout round and beat Chelsea in a penalty shootout in the semi-finals, although they did record a 4–0 aggregate win over PSV in the quarter-finals.

Milan took the lead when Andrea Pirlo’s free-kick deflected off Filippo Inzaghi in the first half. Milan extended their lead in the second half when Inzaghi scored a second goal. Liverpool scored a late goal through Dirk Kuyt, but were unable to equalise before the end of the match. Milan won the match 2–1 to win their seventh Champions League.

Exact size and detail

The 2016 UEFA European Football Championship, commonly referred to as UEFA Euro 2016 or simply Euro 2016, was the 15th UEFA European Championship, the quadrennial international men’s football championship of Europe organised by UEFA. It was held in France from 10 June to 10 July 2016. Spain were the two-time defending champions, having won the 2008 and 2012 tournaments, but were eliminated in the round of 16 by Italy. Portugal won the tournament for the first time, following a 1–0 victory after extra time over the host team, France, in the final played at the Stade de France.

For the first time, the European Championship final tournament was contested by 24 teams, having been expanded from the 16-team format used since 1996. Under the new format, the finalists contested a group stage consisting of six groups of four teams, followed by a knockout phase including three rounds and the final. Nineteen teams – the top two from each of the nine qualifying groups and the best third-placed team – joined France in the final tournament, who qualified automatically as host; a series of two-legged play-off ties between the remaining third-placed teams in November 2015 decided the last four finalist spots.

France was chosen as the host nation on 28 May 2010, after a bidding process in which they beat Italy and Turkey for the right to host the 2016 finals.[7][8] The matches were played in ten stadiums in ten cities: Bordeaux, Lens, Lille Métropole, Décines-Charpieu, Marseille, Nice, Paris, Saint-Denis, Saint-Étienne, and Toulouse. It was the third time that France hosted the finals, after the inaugural tournament in 1960 and the 1984 finals.

As the winners, Portugal earned the right to compete at the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup in Russia

Real Madrid Copa Del Rey Players Winners Trophy 2013 – 2014 Season

Incredibly rare Real Madrid Copa Del Rey Original players winners trophy

Copa del Rey Final Match Winning Player’s Original Trophy which was awarded to the Real Madrid members by the King of Spain Felipe VI at the Mestalla in Valencia on the 16th April 2014 . This is an original trophy neither replica nor reproduction and was obtained from one of Real Madrid staff members. This member received this trophy in the Spanish Federation Dinner the night before the match, which is the reason that the cup has two pairs of colored laces of the participating teams in the final match (FC Barcelona & Real Madrid). The cup also has its original jewel maker case.

The 2014 Copa del Rey Final was the 112th final of Spain’s premier football cup since its establishment (including two seasons where two rival editions were played). The match was an El Clásico between Real Madrid and Barcelona on 16 April 2014 at Mestalla in Valencia, making it the seventh such Copa del Rey final (the most recent was also played at the Mestalla on 20 April 2011).

Real Madrid won the cup for the 19th time after a 2–1 win with Gareth Bale scoring one of the best goals ever seen in a Copa Del Rey Final , after 11 minutes Real Madrid went in front when Ángel Di María’s low left footed shot from the left went through Jordi Alba’s legs and in off goalkeeper José Manuel Pinto’s left hand. Barcelona were level in the 68th minute when Marc Bartra headed into the far corner of the net after a Xavi corner from the left.

The winning goal came with five minutes to go when Gareth Bale picked the ball up just inside his own half on the left wing and went past Bartra at a blistering pace (at one point off the field before running back onto the field) leaving Bartra in his wake, before running into the penalty area, evading more challenges and then composedly slotting the ball left-footed low past the goalkeeper from six yards out. Some football pundits labelled his goal as a masterclass,[11] whilst Barcelona coach Gerardo Martino admitted that it was “difficult to see a player sprint like that at that stage of the game”.

The winners trophies and the big trophy were produced by Alegre jewel maker; a Spanish jewel maker in Madrid who produces all the prizes given to participants in all Spanish sport activities, including La Liga, Copa del Rey, and Supercopa de España. Alegre jewel maker does not sell its products to the general public, his jewel designs are given only to The Spanish Football Federation who awards these prizes to the finalists
