This was Sir Bobby Charlton’s very last and final appearance for Manchester United after making 758 appearances for the club a record which was only overtaken by Ryan Giggs in 2008

Beautiful and incredibly rare signed item from one of if not the greatest Manchester United player of all time and one of the original Busby Babes.
Born in Ashington, Northumberland, Charlton made his debut for the Manchester United first-team in 1956, and over the next two seasons gained a regular place in the team, during which time he survived the Munich air disaster of 1958 after being rescued by Harry Gregg. Charlton is the last surviving person of the crash. After helping United to win the Football League First Division in 1965, he won another First Division title with United in 1967. In 1968, he captained the Manchester United team that won the European Cup, scoring two goals in the final to help them become the first English club to win the competition. He was named in the England squad for four World Cups (1958, 1962, 1966 and 1970), though did not play in the first. At the time of his retirement from the England team in 1970, he was the nation’s most capped player, having turned out 106 times at the highest level. (As of November 2019, this record had been surpassed by six players.)
Charlton was both Manchester United’s and England’s long-time record goalscorer, and United’s long-time record appearance maker, as well as briefly England’s, until Bobby Moore overtook his 106 caps in 1973. His appearance record of 758 for United took until 2008 to be beaten, when Ryan Giggs did so in that year’s Champions League final. With 249 goals, he is currently United’s second-highest all-time goalscorer, after his record was surpassed by Wayne Rooney in 2017. He is also the second-highest goalscorer for England, after his record of 49 goals which was held until 2015 was again surpassed by Rooney.
He left Manchester United to become manager of Preston North End for the 1973–74 season. He changed to player-manager the following season. He next accepted a post as a director with Wigan Athletic, then became a member of Manchester United’s board of directors in 1984.

The front depicts the World Cup trophy in relief with raised text, “FIFA World Cup”; and the reverse features the raised text: “2010, FIFA World Cup, South Africa.” The handsome medal hangs from its original blue FIFA ribbon.
The finals of the 19th FIFA World Cup were held in South Africa between June 11 and July 11, 2010, marking the premiere instance in which the event was hosted on the African continent. After an opening loss to Switzerland, the Spanish national team won their remaining six matches—the last four by a 1-0 score line—to earn their first and only World Cup victory; Spain became the third team to win a World Cup outside their own continent and the first European team to ever do so. A magnificent keepsake that honors Spain’s greatest athletic achievement.

Müller has been praised for his positioning, teamwork and stamina, work-rate, and has shown consistency in both scoring and creating goals. He is also widely regarded as one of the best off-the-ball players of all time due to his immaculate positional awareness. Due to numerous strengths in his game, he is also widely regarded as one of the most complete attacking players in the game.
A product of Bayern’s youth system, Müller has been representing the German team ever since. He made his first-team breakthrough in the 2009–10 season after Louis van Gaal was appointed as the main coach; he played almost every game as the club won the league and cup double and reached the Champions League final. Müller scored 23 goals in the 2012–13 season as Bayern won a historic treble; the league title, cup and Champions League. He broke the Bundesliga record for assists by providing 21 in a season (a record in the top five leagues jointly held with Lionel Messi in La Liga) and scored 14 goals as Bayern won a second treble in the 2019–20 season.
Müller earned a call-up to the German national team in 2010. At the 2010 World Cup, he scored five goals in six appearances as Germany finished in third place. He was named the Best Young Player of the tournament and won the Golden Boot as the tournament’s top scorer, with five goals and three assists. At the 2014 World Cup he played a major role in helping the team win the trophy, scoring five goals and receiving the Silver Ball as the tournament’s second top player and the Silver Boot as the second top goalscorer, and was also named in the World Cup All Star XI and in the Dream Team. In 2014, Müller was ranked the fifth-best footballer in the world by The Guardian. Müller is the most decorated player in German history, with his 28 trophies surpassing Bastian Schweinsteiger’s total of 26.
