Rare Steven Gerrard hand signed programme from his final match for Liverpool

Steven’s last match for the club was against Crystal Palace at Anfield on the 16th of May 2015 in front of a sell out crowd to say goodbye to the Liverpool Captain and quite possibly the greatest Liverpool player of all time

Born in Whiston, Merseyside, Gerrard debuted for Liverpool in 1998. In 2000–01, Gerrard helped Liverpool secure an unpredicted treble of cups and was made captain in 2003. In 2005, Gerrard led Liverpool to its fifth European title, being named Man of the Match as Liverpool came from 3–0 down to defeat Milan in what became known as the Miracle of Istanbul. The following year, Gerrard played in the 2006 FA Cup Final, which has been called The Gerrard Final. Both finals have since become widely regarded as amongst the greatest in the history of each competition. In his 17 seasons at Anfield, Gerrard won a total of two FA Cups, three League Cups, the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Super Cup.

Steven made 504 appearances for the club between 1998 – 2015 scoring 120 goals in that time

Boots remain in good – very good condition with medium signs of wear and use still visible inside and out

Boots have been additionally hand signed by Gerrard on the front of each boot in silver marker pen

Incredibly rare, amazing and very historic Steven Gerrard match worn & signed football boots

Boots worn by Gerrard whilst playing for Liverpool during the 2002 – 2003 Premier League, Champions League season and additionally the Worthington Cup Final in Cardiff v Manchester United on the 2nd March 2003

Boots are the correct size for Gerrard and have been especially made by Adidas for Gerrard to his exact size and have been personalised with Steven’s initials on the front and his squad number ( 17 ) on the heel of each boot, inner size label – ( Made in Germany )

Boots remain in good condition considering there age which is now 25 years old with medium signs of wear and match use still visible inside and out

Boots have been additionally hand signed by Gerrard on the front of each boot in black marker pen

These boots was loaned to the special opening of the Prodirect mega store shop in Liverpool where Gerrard was the guest of honor and opened the store and had inside a special collection and large display of shirts and boots and these boots can be seen being held by Gerrard where he confirmed they was worn by himself and one of his favourite boots and worn in the Worthington Cup final v Manchester United

Steven spent his entire club playing career in the Premier League at Liverpool and is widely regarded as the best midfielder in the history of the Premier League and one of the greatest Premier League players of all time and was recently voted the greatest Premier League midfield player of all time by Jamie Carragher and the second greatest Liverpool player of all time behind Sir Kenny Dalglish

Widely regarded as one of Liverpool’s greatest ever players and also as one of the greatest midfielders of all time, Gerrard spent the majority of his playing career as a central midfielder for Liverpool and the England national team. Gerrard has captained both Liverpool and the England national team. 

Born in Merseyside, Gerrard played for his local club Liverpool for most of his professional career, from 1998 to 2015; here he won nine trophies, including one UEFA Champions League (2005), two FA Cups and three League Cups. He was Man of the Match in the 2005 UEFA Champions League final, in which Liverpool overturned a 3–0 deficit to defeat AC Milan on penalties, and the 2006 FA Cup final, which has been termed The Gerrard Final in homage to his performance. Despite success in cup competitions, he never won the Premier League. Gerrard won 114 England caps between 2000 and 2014, captaining the team 38 times and scoring 21 goals. He played at three UEFA European Championships, in 2000, 2004 and 2012 (where he was named in the Team of the Tournament) and three FIFA World Cups, in 2006, 2010 and 2014. He spent two years at Major League Soccer club LA Galaxy and retired in 2016.

Gerrard began his managerial career managing the Liverpool Youth Academy‘s under-18 team, before starting his senior managerial career in 2018 with Scottish Premiership club Rangers. In his third full season in charge, Gerrard’s side went unbeaten in the league to win Rangers’ first league title in ten years. In November 2021, he became the manager of Aston Villa, but after just eleven months in charge, he was dismissed due to a poor run of results.

As a player, his individual awards include UEFA Club Footballer of the Year in 2005, PFA Players’ Player of the Year in 2006, FWA Footballer of the Year in 2009, appointment as a Member of the Order of the British Empire in 2007 and induction into the Premier League Hall of Fame in 2021. He was named in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year a record eight times. As a manager, he was named as Manager of the Year for 2021 by PFA Scotland and the SFWA.
